Jurassic World’s upcoming sequel has been given a subtitle, as revealed in a newly released poster, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.  This title is an oddly apt choice, considering this film follows the collapse of the Jurassic World attraction in the franchise’s previous entry.  While not many plot elements are known at this time, Jurassic World ended with BD Wong’s character escaping the island with Dinosaur DNA, so expect this sequel to possibly move beyond the franchise’s tradition of having all the action set on an isolated island.  A change of pace like that would actually be refreshing.  Until more plot details roll in we don’t quite no what the title is referring to, but it sounds pretty bad ass, which is enough for now.

The Poster also includes a quote by Jeff Goldblum’s character Ian Malcolm, who starred in the franchise’s first two entries.  The inclusion of this line most likely hints at Goldblum’s character having a substantial part to play in Fallen Kingdom, which is awesome because he’s the main reason that Jurassic Park: The Lost World is actually somewhat watchable.  All that being said, I must point out that the quote reads much differently on the poster than, than it’s said in the original film.  The line should be, “life, uh, finds a way”, but that more comical tone doesn’t seem to be what the poster’s going for.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is directed by J. A. Bayona and will be released in theaters on June 22nd, 2018.
