New ‘Avengers 4’ Set Photos Reveal Pepper Potts and Tony Stark Together; Bruce Banner in Distress

As Spider-Man; Homecoming drew to a close, fans watched as Peter Parker declines Tony’s invitation to join The Avengers. What he doesn’t realize is that Tony had Pepper Potts organize a press event for the announcement and when he cancels, Tony decides to instead propose to Pepper! And now, thanks to a brand new batch of Avengers 4 set photos, courtesy of Page Six, we know that Pepper said yes!

The photos show that Pepper is indeed wearing quite the rock on her finger as she embraces her on-screen love, Tony Stark aka Iron Man. But that’s not all the photos confirm.

As you can see, Tony has a band new arc reactor on his chest. This after he decided to surgically remove it in Iron Man 3 in an attempt to better his relationship with Pepper. With the threat of Thanos obviously still looming following Avengers; Infinity War, it would seem that Tony is going to have to pull all the stops when trying to defeat the Mad Titan and I guess this means going back to using an upgraded, more powerful version of arc reactor. But once again, that’s not all!

Along with Pepper and Tony, Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner also appears in the set photos and it doesn’t look good. He’s seen holding Pepper with an emotional look and Pepper doesn’t look too happy either. It looks like Thanos is going to be hitting the Avengers where it hurts by the time Avengers 4 rolls around. Only time will tell what exactly causes Bruce to look this distraught.

Avengers 4 premieres in theatres on May 3, 2019.
