Rumor: ‘Justice League’ Will Have Two Post-Credit Scenes

Written By: Mathew ‘JJ’ Simoes

As with all rumors, take this with a big grain of salt. But, if this one is proven to be true, it would mean that DC is getting ready to set up the future of their cinematic universe.

According to Umberto Gonzalez of Heroic Hollywood, he dropped a huge scoop on Zack Snyder’s Justice League claiming that the film will have two post-credit scenes. He didn’t dive any further into this new scoop of his which is why we are saying to be cautious with this rumor.

Justice League having two post-credit scenes wouldn’t be shocking as the film is set to introduce a ton of a fan favourite characters from the DC lore. With Aquaman, Flash, Cyborg, DCs New Gods and more all debuting in November, it wouldn’t be out of range for DC to follow in Marvel’s shoes and tease whats to come. After all, they did just recently announce at Comic-Con their new film slate. But what will these post-credit scenes include? Well we have a couple of ideas…

First, we have the big villain that DC teased in Batman V Superman and in Justice League, Darkseid. We know that Darkseid is preparing to come to earth as he has already dispatched his Parademons and Steppenwolf to out planet. With Joss Whedon being brought in to finish Justice League, speculation has pointed to him doing an Avengers style of post-credit scene where he would tease Darkseid in the same way he teased Thanos.

The second, and most exciting probably would be DC finally giving us a taste of the Green Lanterns. The latest Justice League trailer has Cirian Hinds’ Steppenwolf outright say that Earth has “no Lanterns.” While other rumors have said that a Green Lantern will appear during the actual Justice League film, I believe a small tease for possibly Hal Jordan or John Stewart would be a more likely scenario.

What do you think will be teased at the end of Justice League? Let us know in the comments and on social media!
