On Wednesday, Warner Bros. announced that Bradley Cooper’s A Star Is Born will be rereleased in more than 1,150 theaters and an extra 12 minutes of new footage will be added.
The new edition of the film contains extended performances of songs “Black Eyes” and “Alibi,” as well as an a cappella performance of Lady Gaga’s “Shallow.” New footage of Gaga’s character, Ally, singing “Is That Alright?” will also be added as well as Cooper’s character, Jack, in his studio singing “Too Far Gone,” and Jack and Ally writing a new song, “Clover.”
A Star Is Born first released in early October of 2018 and has earned more than $425 million at the worldwide box office. It was nominated for eight Academy Awards, including Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director, Best Picture, and Best Original Song, which Lady Gaga won with Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando and Andrew Wyatt.
A Star is Born reopens in theaters throughout the U.S. and Canada on March 1.
