Seven Bucks Productions and The Nacelle Company will be teaming up to produce the new Disney Plus docuseries, Behind the Attraction. The series will take viewers through Disney history and show how popular Disney points of interest came to be. Disney Plus has ordered 10 one-hour episodes.
Brian Volk-Weiss will be directing the series and will also be serving executive producer alongside Robin Henry and Cisco Henson from the Nacelle Company and Dwayne Johnson, Dany Garcia, Hiram Garcia, Brian Gewirtz, and Kevin Hill from Seven Bucks Productions.
The Nacelle Company was behind the Netflix docuseries The Toys That Made Us, as well as CW’s Discontinued and Netflix’s Guide To Black History. The production company is currently producing the Mad About You revival for Sony Pictures Television. Seven Bucks produced Johnson’s most recent film Hobbs & Shaw, as well as many others like Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and Rampage. The company also produced his HBO series Ballers and will be producing Johnson’s upcoming film The Jungle Cruise.
