According to a report from Deadline, Jonah Hill is no longer in talks to star in Warner Bros’ reboot of The Batman which is being directed by Matt Reeves and stars Robert Pattinson.
The website reports that talks have broken down between the two parties and Warner Bros’ is already starting to eye new candidates for Hill’s role.
The current cast besides Pattinson includes Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman and Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon. Mattson Tomlin and Reeves co-wrote the script for The Batman.
Reeves is also serving as a producer alongside Dylan Clark and Michael E. Uslan is serving as an executive producer. Production begins in January in London.
The Batman is set for release on June 25, 2021.
