Reshoots are not uncommon. Most big budget films undergo reshoots to do some fine tuning. Now, Marvel Studios is preparing to enter reshoots for their final film of 2017.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, it looks like Thor: Ragnarok will be undergoing reshoots in anticipation for its final cut.
Principal photography wrapped in Queensland Australia back in October but the report says that the film is heading back to Atlanta, where Marvel usually films all of their films, for a July 12 to July 19 production.
The third film in the Thor series is looking for “Caucasian-looking men who are over 18 and between 5’10” and 6’1. You must be very physically fit, with muscular and defined arms.”
With such a short production schedule, it can be assumed that reshoots will not be significant in any way. Then again, a lot can get done in a week but still, nothing from the report hints at Marvel having doubts about the film. It will be interesting to see what scene(s) is added to Thor: Ragnarok but it looks like we will have to wait until November to find out.
